Intern Needed For Art Gallery in Williamsburg Brooklyn.

Capla Kesting Fine Art, is looking for an intern who can assist the gallery in its day to day functions. Applicants should have an intrest in contemorary art, possess strong communications skills, and have some profficency on a computer.

Job duties will entail:

Assisting in the production of gallery press materials for upcoming exhibtions, and assisting in their distribution.
Cataloging of artworks in the galleries collection.
Maintaining gallery contact information.
Assisting in the presentation of artworks to prospective clients.

All applicants must be able to dedicate at least 10 hours a week to the internship. In return for your 6 month commitment the gallery will provide the intern with a letter of recommedation detailing your duties and accomplishments during your tenure. This is not a paid internship, as a result we really aren't asking to much time from our interns. We have had success placing our interns in paying postions after thier six month stint so, for the right prospect this is a good postion.
